For the week of August 9th, Mudbrook Street will be under construction for the installation of new water lines.  The road will be closed to through traffic right in front of the Middle School.  If coming from Wales Rd (route 241,) no traffic on Mudbrook will be allowed past the first entrance to the Middle School/Bus Garage.

This road closure will have a great impact on JYFA Tackle A and B Football and Cheerleading practices.  We recommend the following:

B League Football Players and A & B League Cheerleaders:

Arrive to practice by taking Arlington Rd to Mudbrook St.

A League Football Players:

There are 2 workable options for A Leaguers:

1. Enter the Middle School's front parking lot by taking Arlington Rd to Mudbrook, dropping off/picking up their players and having them walk to and from the practice fields.

2. Entering the normal entrance to the Middle School/Bus Garage by taking Wales Rd (route 241) to Mudbrook.  This area will be very congested at dropoff/pickup time.  There will only be ONE lane entering this parking lot due to the road closure.  There is normally 1 entrance and 2 exit lanes at this location.  With having just 1 lane in and out, we have asked the JTPD to help the league by having somebody there to direct traffic.  We are unsure if the police department will be able to direct traffic for us.

We have created the following map to help visualize the options:
